Aptech Aviation opens 2nd centre in Hyderabad

Aptech Aviation and Hospitality Academy opened its second branch in Hyderabad and its 35th in India last week. Aptech is optimistic that the demand for aviation-related education will be strong in the medium to long term.

Ravi Dighe, Executive vice-president of Aptech said
that Aptech plans to open eight more centres this fiscal. In the next five years, it is targeting a network of 75 centres. The institute offers courses ranging from a six-month diploma in airport management to a two-year MBA. The course fee is Rs 75,000 - Rs 2 lakh.

Last fiscal, around 5,000 students took the company's  aviation courses. Of these, 70 per cent of the students who had registered for placement, were absorbed by the industry, Dighe said.
