Cairn India to up its output in Rajasthan's block

A source in the Union Oil Ministry said that Cairn India plans to raise oil output from its Rajasthan block to 3,00,000 barrels per day (bpd) from the present 1,75,00 bpd.
 
 The source said India's upstream regulator, the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons, will give a view on Cairn's proposals within one to two weeks.
